The Riding Center at Carriage Hill MetroPark provides opportunities for children and adults to experience and connect with nature on horseback. This public horseback riding facility offers horseback riding activities for beginner through intermediate riders focusing on safety, balanced position, and proper horsemanship skills. As our team is busy with year-round care of our horses and programming, we need some extra helping hands in caring for the garden beds and the grounds.
Impact
Five Rivers MetroParks provides clean, safe parks and conservation areas for the public to enjoy year round. Our Park Maintenance volunteers help to manage and sustain 18 beautiful parks, 11 conservation areas, and 160 miles of hike, bike, mountain bike, and horseback-riding trails for park visitors to safely enjoy.
