The Passport to MetroParks event aims to build community awareness of what our Metroparks have to offer and will highlight various MetroParks' events, programs, and parks. Volunteers will assist with clean up and tear down of tents, tables, and chairs.
Impact
Special Event volunteers are critical in ensuring that each special event or large-scale program runs smoothly from set-up to tear-down. Teardown volunteers are a vital part of the event and ensure that the event is cleaned up quickly and completely, returning the park to its normal functions.
Tasks
- Assist in breaking down tents, tables, and chairs, which could weigh anywhere from 5-50 pounds
