Do you enjoy a little Spring cleaning? Love getting things organized? If so, this opportunity may be for you! Volunteer Services is looking for some support in cleaning out and organizing our office space downtown. This will involve organizing and taking an inventory of all our VIP volunteer apparel, cleaning out and storing our food service equipment, organizing and shredding files, and more. Help us get ready for a busy Spring season!
Impact
Administrative volunteers work behind the scenes on a variety of clerical projects to ensure that our frontline staff and volunteers have all they need to provide high-quality parks, programs, and services.
Tasks
- Clean out files and paperwork
- Utilize shredder to shred paperwork
- Organize and inventory VIP volunteer apparel and other items
- Clean food service equipment
- Other tasks as needed
Eligibility: This opportunity is open to Long-Term volunteers ages 18 and up.

Additional Notes
- Parking & Meeting Instructions: Volunteers should park at Five Rivers MetroParks headquarters, 409 E. Monument Ave, Dayton, OH 45402. Volunteers will need to prominently display their Volunteer Parking Hang tag. Please contact volunteer.services@metroparks.org if you need a Volunteer Parking Hang tag. Take the elevator to the third floor and check in Visitor Services. There you will be given a visitors pass to access the Volunteer Services area.

Environment & Physical Demands: Physical duties include standing for long periods, bending, lifting and reaching.
