Program Assistants volunteers with sewing skills and knowledge of sewing machines are being invited to support our upcoming class, "A Smorgasbord of Sewn Gifts," designed for participants aged 18 and older. Volunteers will assist participants in creating four exciting projects during the class: a sewing tool caddy, a pin cushion thread bag, a quilt clips holder, and a quilted bowl. Your support will be crucial in helping participants understand the directions, especially if they are unable to finish their projects during class.
This opportunity involves working alongside staff during a public program. Although it is at Carriage Hill, there is no need for period apparel! If you're passionate about sewing and want to share your skills with others, we would love to have you join us!
