Are you a self-starter? Looking for a flexible volunteer opportunity? Then look no further. Whether on the weekend or a day during the week, early in the morning or after work for some exercise, this is the perfect opportunity to give back to your community on your own time!
Volunteers play an important part in achieving MetroParks’ mission to protect the region’s natural heritage and provide outdoor experiences that inspire a personal connection with nature. Garden Ambassador volunteers will serve a critical role in helping staff to maintain our landscape and garden beds, while also providing excellent customer service to park visitors.
Join us on Saturday, May 6 from 10 am to noon at Cox Arboretum MetroPark for an informational session to learn more. Horticulture staff will be onsite to answer questions and provide a tour* of the edible gardens.

*Weather permitting. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, and bring a pre-filled water bottle.
