Who We Are
Administration Volunteers provide behind the scenes support to ensure that our frontline staff have everything they need to provide high quality parks, programs, and services. Their service ensures appropriate filing and documentation across departments in the agency and provides the opportunity for a variety of projects including historical research.
These opportunities require strong organization and attention to detail with moderate to advanced levels of computer experience depending on the opportunity. If you love checking off a to-do list and performing data entry -these opportunities are for you!
Entry-level volunteers are welcome. Some skills may be developed over time and may require additional training or an annual check-off.
About This Position
This opportunity may be a great fit if you enjoy supporting from behind the scenes serving indoors in a typical office environment while making a meaningful impact to support our parks.
Administration Volunteers include individuals ages 18 and up depending on the specific opportunity.
Administration opportunities are offered on weekdays with the potential for some flexible options including remote options depending on the opportunity. These opportunities are primarily open to long-term volunteers; however, there may be some open to short-term volunteers.
What to Know Before You Get Started

- Some opportunities may also include orientation, training, or a skills check-off, depending on the tasks involved. If an opportunity requires training, you will be prompted to start that training process when you respond to the opportunity. Training requirements can often be found in the Eligibility section of the opportunity.
- Tools, supplies, and instructions are typically provided, unless noted otherwise.
- Administration opportunities take place at our Main Office downtown.
