Fall brings cooler weather, seasonal activities, and the celebration of the harvest from the gardens. Adventure Central is excited about the return of its Fall Harvest program, and plenty of activities are planned for an evening of fun. Volunteers will assist with the games and activities, and getting the snacks ready for everyone. Adventure Central promotes positive youth development, education, and leadership skills using an environmental foundation in a welcoming, safe, fun, and active setting. These kids are just bursting with energy and excitement! Volunteers should enjoy working with youth and families, and be ready to get roped into all sorts of shenanigans!
Impact
Volunteers will build trusting and positive relationships that strengthen values, build lasting life skills, and encourage an eagerness to explore life’s possibilities. Games are more than having fun and can be a great learning tool for kids and families. They can help children work on skills such as concentration, strategizing, following directions, and patience.
