Help us celebrate and share artisan skills featured at Carriage Hill Historic Farm on November 4, 2023!

Staff and experienced historic interpreter volunteers will demonstrate many of the artisan skills used during a volunteer opportunity like blacksmithing, woodworking, broom making, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and introducing participants to heritage cookery from 10am-3pm on Saturday, November 4th at the Carriage Hill MetroPark Historic Farm.
This new Carriage Hill Historic event aims to build community awareness of what exciting things happen at the historic farm. Many of the artisan skills and heritage cookery are coming back into the mainstream and this event introduces individuals to volunteer opportunities to learn and give back at the same time.
Join us as an event participant--no registration required--to learn more about these artisan skills and how you can support the historic farm as a short-term or long-term volunteer! Learn more about this event here.
