The Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience 2026: Event Ambassador

Description

Let your personality shine and be the friendly face that welcomes visitors into The Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience! Event Ambassador Volunteers are stationed at the entrance of the event to welcome visitors, provide event information, distribute programs, and assist with activity waivers. As visitors leave, ambassadors thank them for coming and encourage them to attend future events.

Impact

Special Event volunteers are critical in ensuring that each special event or large-scale program runs smoothly from set-up to tear-down.  Event Ambassador volunteers help participants feel welcome, engaged and knowledgeable about the event and set the tone for a positive visitor experience.

Tasks

  • Welcome the community into the event space
  • Provide excellent customer service to those attending the event and work to troubleshoot problems
    • “I’m not exactly sure, but I’ll get a staff member for you who would know that answer.”
  • Answer questions about the day's event schedule and layout
  • Share with visitors how and where to get their activity waivers to participate in the event's Try It activities. Visitors can complete activity waivers at the Waiver tent or at Information Central. Watch this video to learn more about our activity waivers.
  • Train your volunteer replacement and pass along tips and tricks learned during your shift
