TVT Challenge 2026: Aid Station- Manning Road

Description

Be a part of the Annual TVT Challenge! This fun, non-competitive hiking endurance event challenges participants to see how far they can hike in one day. Various routes will be marked along the Twin Valley Trail, with hiking options ranging from 1 to 27 miles.  Aid Station volunteers help provide support to hiker participants by serving refreshments, checking for safety concerns, and alerting staff of any participants who need additional support or a ride back to the starting point.

Impact

Five Rivers MetroParks provides an array of outdoor events and large programs throughout the year for residents of the Miami Valley to get connected to recreation, music, history, family, and most of all, nature. Program support volunteers serve a critical role in ensuring participants at special event or large-scale programs learn more about MetroParks and our program and volunteer opportunities, as well as, help the event run smoothly from set-up to teardown.

Tasks

  • Help keep the aid station stocked with drinks and snacks for event participants to enjoy.
  • Support hikers as they come through the aid station by cheering them on.
