The Adventure Summit: Classroom Ambassadors

Five Rivers MetroParks and Wright State University are excited to invite you to be a part of The Adventure Summit, a celebration of outdoor culture and adventure! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help during the event by welcoming attendees to scheduled presentations, helping them find their seats, providing room counts and general event information.

Tasks

  • Report to your classroom assignment (you'll receive your room assignment at volunteer check-in) and help prepare the room for the scheduled presentation. You can view the schedule of presentations here.
  • Welcome the public to the presentation and help find seats if needed.
  • When the presentation begins, close the doors to ensure all can hear.
  • Count how many people are attending the presentation and record the total attendance in the binder for each presentation.
  • Open the doors at the end of the presentation.
  • Thank everyone for coming and ask them to complete an evaluation card on their way out.
  • Enjoy the event!
