Help us celebrate the beauty and joy of the Fall season at this year's Fall Family Adventure at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark, Saturday, October 18th!
Five Rivers MetroParks' programs and special events allow families and children to be an active part of our mission, protecting the region’s natural heritage and providing outdoor experiences that inspire a personal connection with nature. This program provides opportunities for families to learn how animals and plants change in the fall while enjoying games, crafts, face painting, and more! Participants can explore the prairie and hear wonderful tales from a storyteller, enjoy live music, a magician, meet Animal Ambassadors, learn the secrets of spiders, and stroll through the beautiful gardens. Light refreshments will be provided. Volunteers make it all possible by supporting various family-friendly activities and assisting with event set-up and tear-down.
