Description

Celebrate Earth Day by registering to pick up a free Adopt-A-Park Service Kit! Returning this year, MetroParks is offering an alternative way to help protect the region’s natural heritage, and make your parks and river corridors healthier and more attractive by providing a limited quantity of free services kits geared towards engaging community groups and families in self-directed litter removal (RSVP required).

Participants can pick up litter autonomously throughout our parks, on our trails, in their favorite local green spaces, and even in their own neighborhood. Each Adopt-A-Park Service Kit will serve a group of 5, and contain the following:

  • Trash Bags
  • Gloves
  • 1 Litter Pick-up Tool
  • Step-by-step instructions for safe litter collection and disposal

Ready to Reserve Your Adopt-A-Park Service KitClick YES above to RSVP and reserve your kit. Once you have registered, you may drive-through any time during the timeframe listed. When you arrive, please follow the directional signs that will lead you to a Five Rivers MetroParks vehicle and tent, located in the parking lot. Pull directly up to the tent, roll down your driver-side window, provide MetroParks staff with your name and we’ll hand you your kit.

*This service kit comes with enough gloves and trash bags for a family or group of 5. If you would you like to request additional gloves and trash bags, please click here to submit a request before your scheduled pick up.
