The Arena Assistant Training is only open to those current Carriage Hill Riding Center volunteers who have completed 20 hours of service as a Barn Aide and received an email invitation. Equestrian Arena Assistant volunteers assist staff in conducting Riding Center lessons and camps. Volunteers are the extra set of eyes, ears, and hands that ensure each participant has a safe and engaging experience.
For training, volunteers are asked to complete a virtual training, and then attend an onsite training at the Carriage Hill Riding Center.
Step 1: At-Home Virtual Training
- Review the Area Assistant Training and submit your Arena Assistant Quiz.
Step 2: Attend Equestrian Area Assistant Training onsite at the Carriage Hill Riding Center

RSVPs are required to attend this training. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe boots.
