Forest Therapy, also known as shinrin-yoku in Japan, or forest bathing, is a practice that invites you to immerse yourself in nature, slowing down and spending time among the trees to take in nature's healing effects.
On November 16th, from 9 am-11: 30 am Dave Thaeler and Ellen Foley from the non-profit Broadwell Center in Cincinnati will lead a Forest Therapy training session for our qualified Naturalist Volunteers who support school tours. The training will be held at Cox Arboretum MetroPark and will include a group walk followed by a short discussion about how to use Forest Therapy techniques with students during tours.
