Get started as a Five Rivers MetroParks Volunteer!
At this session, a Volunteer Coordinator will guide you through the steps to becoming a MetroParks Volunteer! Get Connected is a volunteer management system that allows volunteers to sign up for a volunteer shift, track volunteer hours, register for volunteer training, and more! The presentation portion will last 15-20 minutes, then staff will be available to offer participants individual help for the remaining time.
Get Connected also allows your staff lead to track and report the impact of your volunteer service. By tracking volunteer engagement in one system, we are able to plan projects and events, report annual data, and apply for grants that support the work our staff and volunteers do every day in our parks!
We recommend bringing your laptop or tablet (and power cord) and a pre-filled water bottle. If you don't have a laptop or tablet one can be provided for you. Click here to see MetroParks' latest Covid-19 updates.
