ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? This opportunity is open to individual long-term volunteers, ages 18 and up who have completed their volunteer onboarding qualifications (Volunteer Handbook Signature, Completed Volunteer Profile), an eligible background check, and are currently serving as MetroParks Historical Research volunteers. What to Expect
Volunteers will gather at the MetroParks Main Office parking lot north entrance at 9:00 am and will take a walking tour through Downtown Dayton highlighting The Aulls in Dayton. Itinerary highlights include:
- Dayton Engineer's Club
- Miami Conservancy District
- Insco Apartments
- Dayton City Club
- Dayton Bicycle Club
What to Bring:
- A MetroParks volunteer hangtag for your vehicle will be required to park in the Main Office parking lot. If you do not currently have one, please email volunteer.services@metroparks.org so that one can be provided for you on that day.
- Sunscreen/bug spray as needed
- A full water bottle
- Clothing appropriate for the weather, such as a light jacket or raincoat, and comfortable walking shoes.
