This Returning Equestrian Trail Guide Volunteer Training is only open to long-term volunteers ages 16 and up who qualified as Equestrian Trail Guides in 2025 and who have renewed their Barn Aide qualification for 2026. WHAT TO EXPECT & WHAT YOU'LL REVIEW
This training is for returning Equestrian Trail Guide volunteers only who have qualified as Barn Aides in 2026, ages 16 and up.
This training for experienced Equestrian Trail Guides is designed to deepen and GROW your skills as a guide and expedite your annual skills check off.
This training includes both classroom and field components:
- Physical Requirements: Volunteers should be prepared to squat, kneel, bend, carry 10-15 lbs., and work in various weather conditions.
- Protective Gear: Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. No steel-toed boots please.
- Weather-appropriate Attire: Please dress for the weather.
