Join our team this year as a Tactile Nature Interpreter at a variety of outreach and programming
opportunities! These ambassadors support our Marketing and Programming teams through the display and interpretation of a variety of touchable items including furs and bones that will spark interest and curiosity from a variety of guests, engage them in conversations, and help them connect with our mission.
Opportunities will be available throughout the year. Interested volunteers should plan to support several opportunities per year with each opportunity typically lasting 3-4 hours. Volunteers may sign up and serve in pairs - It's always more fun to volunteer with a partner!
DO YOU QUALIFY? To be eligible to support this opportunity, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, or approved family volunteers, and complete the volunteer onboarding qualifications, receiving an eligible background check. Click here to complete your volunteer onboarding qualifications.
