Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care: Volunteer LEAD Training
The Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care: Volunteer LEAD Training is open to qualified Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care volunteers. For more information on how to get started as a Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care volunteer, please visit our Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care Training page.
We are putting together a brand-new opportunity for our experienced volunteers making the most of your expertise to help us train new Wildlife Ambassador Animal Care volunteers in 2025!
In this training, we will introduce procedures for how to meet with brand-new volunteers, how to welcome and orient them to the building, and the procedures for providing high-quality animal care to our wildlife animal friends.
We'll also teach you how to step back and let the new volunteers gain the hands-on experience needed during scheduled shadow experiences to complete all the required care tasks successfully to check off an qualify as an ongoing animal care volunteer.
