Get Connected Tech Tip: Do You Have a User Group?

As a volunteer, you may belong to one or more user groups. User groups are a way for volunteers to track combined efforts, or allow you to access easily specific or private opportunities. A few examples of current user groups include Wildlife Ambassadors, MetroParks Volunteer Patrol, Carriage Hill Riding Center, Carriage Hill Historic Interpreters, or Conservation Leaders.

Get Connected Tech Tip: View Your Volunteer Impact in Your Volunteer Resume

Volunteer hours are still an important part of showing volunteer impact which helps us apply for a variety of grants, and helps you earn rewards from our Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP). Volunteer hours are tabulated easily with Get Connected when you check in to your scheduled opportunity shifts. You can view a summary of your total volunteer impact this year in your Volunteer Resume.

Tech Tip - Get Connected - Training & Event RSVPs

If you have submitted and RSVP for a Training & Event in Get Connected, you'll know that keeping track of the training you signed up for can be a little tricky. The site will send you email confirmations but it does not track your RSVPs on your Volunteer Schedule. You can; however, view all of your RSVPs for Training & Events from your Volunteer Dashboard. (This is your landing page when you log in to Get Connected.)
