Get Connected Tech Tip: You Made A Difference! View Your Volunteer Impact!
As we welcome 2026, we take a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements of 2025 - Volunteers served an incredible 30,246.58 hours! Our volunteers have created a meaningful impact on everything MetroParks accomplishes. While numbers can be impressive, it's the positive experiences cultivated for our community and volunteers that truly resonate. What a remarkable year it has been! We are honored to recognize exceptional contributions of dedicated volunteers like you, who have been instrumental in nurturing our parks, enhancing our programs, and infusing joy into our events throughout the year. Thank you! As a benefit of using Get Connected, you can view your individual impact and see the difference you've made with MetroParks. Here's how: 1) Simply log in to Get Connected and click the "Volunteer Resume" link on the right side of your dashboard. 2) Then, filter the year fields for January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. 3) Click "Go" to view your unique contribution to MetroParks for 2025. We hope you take pride in the service you have provided and the meaningful differences you've made. Stay tuned for an email unveiling our 2026 Volunteer Impact Report with wonderful stories and highlights of your impact this year. Volunteers truly make a lasting difference, and we are immensely grateful for each of your contributions. 
NEW! There's a new log-in process coming to Get Connected in February called Global Profile. This is a product change that will allow volunteers to log in to multiple Get Connected sites with one login and password if they volunteer at other organizations that utilize the same system. This will require everyone to log in with a valid email address, set a new password, and verify their email address. The system will automatically prompt you to do this once it goes into effect. Here's a video to help you learn more about the new Global Profile and walk you through the new log in process. Note: If you or if you have youth volunteers who are utilizing fake email addresses, work with your Volunteer Coordinator to set up a real email address for these accounts moving forward.
