Thank you for your interest in supporting volunteer opportunities that involve utilizing our MetroParks woodworking equipment. New Woodworking at Cox Arboretum MetroPark volunteers can be onboarded any time during the year.

Step 3: Complete the In-Person Training and Demonstration of Safe Equipment Operation

A Volunteer Coordinator and/or Staff Lead will be in touch with you to arrange a brief training and demonstration of safe equipment operation. For new volunteers, after the In-Person Training and Check-Off, you will shadow a current qualified woodworking volunteer at your next Woodworking volunteer opportunity.
