Click the blue RESPOND button to complete your volunteer onboarding qualifications plus a driver's background screening with our partner Sterling Volunteers.
You must be at least 18 years old and a fully onboarded long-term volunteer to train and qualify to drive Five Rivers MetroParks vehicles including road vehicles and nonroad vehicles (trams/shuttles, gators, and golf carts). Please see the appropriate vehicle training pages in the Volunteer Training Library for training requirements:
- Road Vehicle Volunteer Training
- Non-Road Vehicle Volunteer Training (including Tram Driver, Gator Driver, and Golf Cart Driver)
Note: background checks typically take 3-5 business days to process and must be cleared before responding to some volunteer opportunities. You will receive an email notification when your background check clears.
If you need support with the background check process or any of the onboarding qualifications, please contact volunteer.services@metroparks.org or call #937-275-7275.
