All through the event the Waste Free Educators were assisting people and helping us provide a waste-free event. Now, its time for all of that collected compost to be composted! This post-event activity will help determine the amount of waste generated.
Impact
Special Event volunteers are critical in ensuring events and large-scale programs run smoothly. Post Event activities are essential in successfully determining the next steps in assessing a more waste-free event.
Tasks
- Assist staff lead, Tim Pritchard, Sustainability Coordinator in shredding compost, and evaluating the amount of waste at this event
