Individuals who volunteer their time and talents help put excitement and perspective into the activities offered by our programming teams. The Teachers' Night Out series is designed for teachers to learn about nature and science topics and how they can incorporate these topics into classroom learning. This session will focus on the Green Schoolyard program, which encourages schools to develop outdoor learning spaces in their schoolyards. Participants will be sketching out garden ideas on graph paper as part of the session. A volunteer with more gardening knowledge will be helpful in supporting this opportunity. Program Support Volunteers are needed and able to participate in various entry opportunities to support programs, while not needing to be the expert at the activities.
