Be the friendly face and smile that welcomes visitors to the return of The Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience! Five Rivers MetroParks will be offering a variety of items for sale at the entrance to the event. Volunteers will support our Business Services team by assisting visitors in making merchandise selections, answering questions, and ensuring a positive visitor experience. 

Impact

Ambassador volunteers help create a positive, high-energy visitor experience by sharing their enthusiasm for the outdoors while providing excellent customer service at the Merchandise booth. Volunteers will leave knowing they have promoted an active, healthy lifestyle in the region and have contributed to making Dayton “The Adventure Capital of the Midwest!”

Tasks

• Greet guests to The Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience.
• Answer questions about Five Rivers MetroParks, the event, and available merchandise with staff assistance.
• Assist staff with the merchandise purchase process excluding money handling.
• Assist staff in restocking merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Assist with set up and tear down of the booth and merchandise as needed.

• This opportunity is for long-term volunteers.  Learn more about our types of service here. 
• Parking is available for volunteers off Springfield Street. Volunteers should Check-In at Volunteer Central in the Bluegrass Shelter by the lagoon.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park, check-in, and get to your volunteer location.
