Join us in bringing the RiverScape Summer Music Series to life! This program showcases a wide variety of FREE live concerts under the pavilion at RiverScape MetroPark. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create an unforgettable experience for our community. Volunteer Ambassadors will offer excellent customer service to park visitors and help them build awareness of all the incredible amenities that MetroParks offers to community members.
Impact
As a Volunteer Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in sharing your passion for Five Rivers MetroParks with a diverse audience of concertgoers. Your energy and friendliness will help set the tone for each evening!
Tasks
- Greet concert goers and park visitors
- Pass out Five Rivers MetroParks marketing materials, including Parkways and the RiverScape Summer Guide brochure
- Roam the event to show a Five Rivers MetroParks presence
- Assist with questions about the event, park, and Five Rivers MetroParks
- Refer questions you cannot answer to a MetroParks staff member on-site
- Optional- To provide additional support to staff with light setup tasks, like hanging banners and arranging chairs.
Eligibility: This opportunity is open to long-term, and short term volunteers, ages 18 and up.

Additional Notes
- Parking & Meeting Instructions: Meet at RiverScape MetroPark, located at 237 E. Monument Avenue, and meet under the RiverScape pavilion. Volunteers may park at the Main Office (409 E. Monument Avenue) with a proper hang tag. Parking meters are also free after 6 PM.
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel a shift last minute or are running late, please call the staff lead, April DeBrosse, at 937-528-7181. Concerts continue rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, or rare instances where the concert may be canceled, volunteers will be notified.

Environment & Physical Demands: Light physical duties include standing, walking, and light lifting.
- If you would like to request a service accommodation in order to volunteer at this opportunity, please contact Volunteer Services at least 1 week before the scheduled opportunity.
- Dress: Please wear your volunteer name badge and volunteer apparel.
- Other: Volunteers must abstain from drinking alcohol until after their volunteer shift is finished and must remove their volunteer nametag and any other volunteer apparel when consuming alcohol.
- Volunteers will be provided with a station including a table and chairs where they will be able to greet concert attendees as they arrive. During the concert, we encourage volunteers to continue answering any questions from the public while enjoying the music and the sunset along the Great Miami River.
