Equipment Operation - Volunteer Training

Thank you for your interest in supporting volunteer opportunities that involve utilizing MetroParks equipment. Volunteers should complete this training when equipment use is connected to a specific volunteer opportunity and they have been invited to participate by a staff lead or Volunteer Coordinator. Opportunities that may involve equipment use include roles such as Trail Maintenance

This opportunity is open to individual, long-term volunteers, ages 18 and up, who have completed their volunteer onboarding qualifications (Volunteer Handbook Signature, Completed Volunteer Profile) and an eligible background check. Step 3: Complete the In-Person Training and Demonstration of Safe Equipment Operation
Once you have completed the steps above, a Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to share the next steps for completing your in-person training for the Equipment Operation.
Once your Equipment Operations qualifications are complete, you can begin signing up for opportunities!
