Using Search and Filter to Easily Find Volunteer Opportunities
Many times we get asked, "Is there an easier way to find opportunities?" This is especially true if you are only interested in supporting certain sites, or specific activities. Get Connected has a useable Search and Filter function in the opportunities listing and in the schedule view. You can search by keyword or phrase like "fishing", "horses", "Cox", or filter by Volunteer Position "Animal Care", or sort by an alphabetized listing. These features will help narrow down what you are seeing, and allow you to find things you want much quicker … especially as a busy Spring season approaches and we anticipate quite a few volunteer opportunities.
