Five Rivers MetroParks has a brand-new way to engage volunteers--Get Connected! Get Connected is an online system that allows volunteers to explore all the volunteer opportunities available with Five Rivers MetroParks, sign up to volunteer online, track their volunteer hours online, participate in online training, and more!
The Get Connected system is now open for training and we are asking all of our long-term volunteers to log in to the site, view the Get Connected Site Training for Volunteers, and complete their volunteer profile and qualifications before December 1st.
As a thank you, Volunteer Services will be offering a brand-new volunteer t-shirt, plus weekly drawings through November with great MetroParks prizes like a RiverScape Ice Rink admission, skate rental and hot cocoa for a family of 4; 2nd Street Market Bucks; and more! Winners will be announced on the Get Connected site main page each Friday at noon through November. Log in and see if you've won!

Volunteer opportunities listed on the Get Connected site between now and December 1st will be for practice only and are labeled "Test". All real available volunteer opportunities will continue to be posted on Signup.com during this time. The Get Connected volunteer management site will go LIVE with real available volunteer opportunities beginning Jan. 1st at metroparks.org/volunteer.
