Gardening Ambassador - Volunteer Training

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Maimon Memorial Garden as a Gardening Ambassador at Five Rivers MetroParks. Gardening Ambassador volunteers play an important role in helping staff care for the landscape and garden beds in the Maimon Memorial Garden (formerly known as the Edible Landscape Garden, or ELG) at Cox Arboretum MetroPark, while also providing a welcoming presence for park visitors. This is a flexible, unscheduled opportunity. Once qualified, volunteers can support weeding and watering tasks in the Maimon Memorial Garden anytime the park is open.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?  This opportunity is open to individual, long-term volunteers, ages 18 and up, who have completed their volunteer onboarding qualifications (Volunteer Handbook Signature, Completed Volunteer Profile) and an eligible background check.
