Gardening Ambassador - Volunteer Training

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Maimon Memorial Garden as a Gardening Ambassador at Five Rivers MetroParks. Gardening Ambassador volunteers will serve a critical role in helping staff maintain our landscape and garden beds in the Maimon Memorial Garden (formerly referred to as the Edible Landscape Garden or ELG), while also providing excellent customer service to park visitors. These volunteers serve in an unscheduled capacity, meaning once qualified, they can volunteer supporting weeding and watering tasks in the Maimon Memorial Garden anytime the park is open.

DO YOU QUALIFY? To be eligible to support this opportunity, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, complete their volunteer onboarding qualifications, and have successfully cleared a background check. Click here to complete your volunteer onboarding qualifications. Additionally, you will need to complete the Gardening Ambassador volunteer training below.
